Our furniture design style is historically a combination of styles. American
country, Welsh, Shaker, Pilgrim, Federal, William and Mary, all had an
influence in our designs.
Proper construction details such as full mortise and tenon joinery,
dove tailed joints, solid wood drawer bottoms and pegged joints are
“standard fare” in our work. The Black Hutch Co. will provide finished
samples to the designer or client initially for approval. We can provide
samples until the finish is exactly what you desire. Samples showing
different levels of “distressing”, crazing or crackle, nicks and scratches
can be also provided.
